RIO DE JANEIRO, May 13 (Reuters) - Brazilian state oil
company Petrobras said on Friday first-quarter net
profit rose to 10.985 billion reais ($6.7 billion) compared to
7.7 billion reais a year earlier.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and
amortization, a key measure of a company's cash generation
known as EBITDA, rose to 16.1 billion reais from 15.1 billion
reais in the same period in 2010.
